"HEI MATAU" offers a modern interpretation of the traditional Māori fish hook. Celebrated as a symbol of good luck, prosperity, abundance. The natural spalting of the Tawa timber—marked by dramatic, ink-like black veins—creates a striking visual contrast, bringing organic texture, cultural narrative, and fluid grace to the wall.
